Song Ji Hyo And Kim Jong Kook’s Love Line Builds Up On “Running Man”
Before officially beginning the “Level Up Race,” the “Running Man” cast had some small talk. Kim Jong Kook was wearing black while Song Ji Hyo was in yellow, which made Yoo Jae Suk remark, “You two look like lines on a road,” and Haha commented, “You look like kimbab and pickled radish.”
While the guests Hong Jong Hyun, BIGBANG’s Seungri, Jung Yu Mi, Lee Yoo Ri, and AOA’s Jimin and Mina made their entrances and revealed their “levels,” Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook stood in the wrong spot and kept getting pushed into the corner as Yoo Jae Suk opened each door. Together, they moved to another spot as the cast members made fun of them and commented on how great they look as a pair.
The couples for the episode were Yoo Jae Suk – Jung Yu Mi, Jun So Min – Hong Jong Hyun, Yang Se Chan – Jimin, Ji Suk Jin – Seungri, Haha – Mina, and Lee Kwang Soo – Lee Yo Ri. As for Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo, they became a couple after everyone agreed on it. To win the race, the couples had to reach level 10 in total after combining each individual’s levels, and the winning team was to be decided through a roulette if none of the teams made it to level 10.
The first couple game involved chasing the other teams on ice. As Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo ran around the ice track holding hands, the “Running Man” cast sang romantic songs every time they came near and could not stop teasing them. All Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo could do was to smile shyly.
Lee Kwang Soo and Lee Yoo Ri ended up winning the first game while Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook came in second. When Kim Jong Kook gave one of the “levels” he obtained to Song Ji Hyo, everyone cheered for them.
Even after the second game, no team was able to reach the designated 10 levels, so the roulette had to be turned. When the pointer miraculously stopped at Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook’s names, the two of them screamed happily and unconsciously hugged each other. Yoo Jae Suk did not let this moment pass and pointed out, “Didn’t you guys just hug?”
What do you think of this love line?
