“SKY Castle” Sets New Record For Highest Ratings In Cable Network History With Final Episode
JTBC’s hit drama “SKY Castle” has ended on a high!
According to statistics released by Nielsen Korea on February 2, the final episode of “SKY Castle” that aired on February 1 recorded nationwide viewership ratings of 23.78 percent.
This is 0.56 percent higher than episode 19, and therefore sets a new record for the highest viewership ratings in the history of any Korean cable network, for both dramas and non-drama programs.
“SKY Castle” had humble beginnings, with ratings for the first episode coming in at 1.73 percent. However, the drama quickly gained traction through word-of-mouth thanks to its storyline and stellar cast of actors and became a must-watch drama.
