Watch: Jin Goo And Seo Eun Soo Are Headstrong Lawyers In Highlight Video For "Legal High"

“Legal High” has released a new highlight video showing a preview of the upcoming drama!

JTBC’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Legal High” is about two extremely different lawyers: an arrogant, successful, and money-focused lawyer Go Tae Rim (played by Jin Goo) and a passionate, just, and driven lawyer Seo Jae In (played by Seo Eun Soo).

The video begins by showing off the two characters’ drastically different personalities. Go Tae Rim, who is known to have a 100 percent success rate, comments that the court is nothing but a place where people, who all believe that they are the just one, fight over who’s right. Believing that justice can be bought with money, he says, “Just bring me money, and I will make you not guilty!”

However, Seo Jae In is shown to believe otherwise, saying, “Isn’t the world of law dead if justice doesn’t prevail?” However, as a rookie lawyer, her results aren’t as great as her passion for justice. After losing the case she was in charge of involving the “part timer murder incident,” she goes to Go Tae Rim for help with the appeal case. However, Go Tae Rim only agrees to take on the case for a fee of five billion won (approximately $4.5 million).

Eventually, after pleading for help, she decides to offer Go Tae Rim payment in the form of a repayment contract consisting of 18 years of her lawyer life. Administrator and Go Tae Rim’s butler Goo Sae Joong (played by Lee Soon Jae), who has an impressive background with diverse experience from all over the world, convinces Go Tae Rim to take on Seo Jae In by saying, “It has to be lawyer Seo Jae In.” The two continue to quarrel throughout the video, with Seo Jae In even cursing at Go Tae Rim by saying, “You are evil, a money leech, and the devil’s agent.”

Furthermore, an odd group of lawyers have gathered together to form the B&G law firm with the purpose of taking down Go Tae Rim no matter what. The members include the successful lawyer Kang Ki Suk (played by Yoon Park), who was once Go Tae Rim’s disciple but is now his competitor. In the video, he says, “Wouldn’t overcoming our teacher be a way of repaying our thanks? One must defeat the best to become the best.” Another member of the firm is Min Joo Kyung (played by Chae Jung An) who is a brainy lawyer that says whatever she wants to her defendants and knows how to do a roundhouse kick, saying, “I used to play around a bit in the past.” Finally, senior lawyer Yoon Sang Goo (played by Jung Sang Hoon) is a member who is willing to put his life on the line.

“Legal High” will premiere on February 8 at 11 p.m. The drama will be available on Viki with English subtitles. Watch the full highlight video below!
