Update: Big Hit Entertainment Responds To Reports Of Relocating Offices
Updated February 8 KST:
Big Hit Entertainment has denied reports that they will be relocating their offices.
In response to reports made earlier in the day, a source from Big Hit Entertainment stated, “We will not be moving our offices.” They also clarified that the reports on the number of employees are also untrue, stating that they still have around 200 employees and not the 450 figure that was reported.
Big Hit Entertainment might be expanding their office!
According to YTN Star on February 8, Big Hit is planning to relocate their office in the first half of this year at the earliest. It has been six months since they moved to their current office in Samseong of Gangnam District last year, but the company has reportedly decided to move again.
The report stated that Big Hit is currently looking to lease a new office space in the Gangnam District, but it won’t be a private building only for the agency. The decision was made because the company’s number of employees has grown from 200 to 450 since their last move, and their current office is unable to accommodate all employees.
Big Hit has yet to release a statement regarding the reports.
