BLACKPINK To Perform At Universal Music's Grammy Artist Showcase

BLACKPINK will be making their U.S. performance debut at Universal Music’s Grammy Artist Showcase, according to a report by Billboard!

The event is hosted by the label’s CEO Lucian Grainge, and it aims to put the spotlight on the label’s established and breaking talent. It was announced last October that BLACKPINK signed a contract with Interscope Records, a label under Universal Music.

The showcase will be held on Saturday, February 9 (the day before the 2019 Grammy Awards), and other artists performing include Greta Van Fleet and Lil Baby. Universal Music’s Grammy Artist Showcase will take place at ROW in Downtown Los Angeles, and tickets are only available by invite.

BLACKPINK has also already confirmed a performance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on February 11 and an appearance on the ABC morning show “Good Morning America” on February 12.

Yang Hyun Suk, the founder of BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment, recently confirmed that the group is gearing up to release new music in March.
