Yang Hyun Suk Shares Updates On New Music From iKON, WINNER, And More

Regarding iKON, Yang Hyun Suk shared that B.I recently proposed a duo album with Bobby before their next group release. Yang Hyun Suk agreed, so the two are hard at work on their unit album.
“It is expected that a full studio album will easily be possible if filled with duo tracks and solo tracks. Taking recording, music video filming, and post-production, it seems that the timing of their release will be around May,” he revealed. iKON is expected to release new music following B.I and Bobby’s unit album.
About WINNER’s album, Yang Hyun Suk explained, “The members requested that the studio album release scheduled for February be pushed back. There was not enough time for them to complete album recording with busy end-of-year activities and touring, and they wished to work on one or two additional track.”
He continued, “As a result, the music video filming scheduled for February was canceled, and they are currently focused on just music production. When it is soon completed, the studio album release date will be announced.”
On solo music from WINNER members, Yang Hyun Suk revealed that Kang Seung Yoon has been preparing his solo album for the past year, but the process has been slow as he has focused on producing songs for WINNER. Song Mino is also likely to release a new solo album this year. In addition, WINNER’s upcoming studio album will contain solo tracks from Kim Jin Woo and Lee Seung Hoon.
Yang Hyun Suk also announced that The Black Label producer R.Tee and YGX artist Anda are releasing a collaboration track on March 6. The song, produced by R.Tee, was in talks to be used for BLACKPINK, but R.Tee expressed his hopes to release the song under his own name before enlisting in the military.
He concluded by sharing that news about SECHSKIES, Eun Ji Won, CL, Lee Hi, and Akdong Musician’s Lee Soo Hyun will be announced later on when dates become finalized.
