Yeo Jin Goo In Talks To Star Opposite IU In New tvN Fantasy Drama

Yeo Jin Goo and IU may be starring together in an upcoming tvN drama!

On February 15, Yeo Jin Goo’s agency Janus Entertainment confirmed, “[Yeo Jin Goo] has received a casting offer for tvN’s new drama ‘Hotel del Luna’ [working title]. He is currently in the midst of reviewing the offer.”

tvN also confirmed last month that IU had been offered the drama’s leading role.

The new fantasy drama will tell the story of the supernatural phenomena that occur at the mysterious Hotel del Luna, where ghosts wander the halls. Yeo Jin Goo has been offered the leading role of the elite hotelier who, due to a stroke of fate, ends up running the hotel. Meanwhile, IU has been offered the role of a woman who has fallen under a curse as punishment for her wrongdoings.

“Hotel del Luna” will be penned by the famous screenwriting duo known as the Hong Sisters (Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran), whose previous works include the hit dramas “You’re Beautiful,” “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho,” “Master’s Sun,” and, most recently, “Hwayugi.” The drama is currently scheduled to premiere in the second half of this year.
