NU’EST’s Minhyun In Talks To Make Musical Debut With “Marie Antoinette”

NU’EST’s agency has responded to reports of Minhyun starring in a musical.
Pledis Entertainment commented on February 22, “Hwang Minhyun did receive the offer to star in musical ‘Marie Antoinette,’ but he has not been confirmed. The offer is still being reviewed.”
Minhyun is reportedly debuting as a musical actor!
On February 22, it was reported that the NU’EST member will be taking the stage for the upcoming musical “Marie Antoinette.”
The musical follows the dramatic lives of Marie Antoinette and the fictional character Margrid Arnaud. Minhyun has been cast in the role of Axel von Fersen, a Swedish count who is in love with Marie Antoinette.
Despite his busy schedule, Minhyun has reportedly been receiving individual vocal training for his musical debut.
With music by Sylvester Levay, “Marie Antoinette” premiered in Korea in 2014 to a total audience of about 140,000.
“Marie Antoinette” is set to return to Korea this year from August 24 through November 17 at D-Cube Art Center in Seoul.
