Update: Han Sun Hwa Confirmed For 2nd Season Of OCN’s “Save Me”

Han Sun Hwa will be starring in the new season of OCN’s “Save Me”!
On March 20, Huayi Brothers Korea confirmed that Han Sun Hwa will appear in the second season of “Save Me” as Go Eun Ah, also referred to as “Go Madam.” She is the first love of Min Chul (played by Uhm Tae Goo). The two dated back in their teenage years, but when they reunite five years later, they start building a new relationship as they feel both love and hate towards each other.
On February 22, news outlet Ilgan Sports reported that Han Sun Hwa was confirmed to star in the new season of OCN’s “Save Me.”
According to the report, the actress will be taking on the role of a madam named Go Eun Ah, who is also Min Chul’s first love. In response, Huayi Brothers Korea revealed, “Han Sun Hwa is positively reviewing an offer for the second season of ‘Save Me.'”
The first season of “Save Me” told the story of a town of people who were thrown into chaos because of a pseudo-religion. The first season aired in 2017 and starred 2PM’s Taecyeon, Seo Ye Ji, Jo Sung Ha, and Woo Do Hwan.
It was previously reported that Esom, Chun Ho Jin, and Uhm Tae Goo are also in talks for the drama’s new season. Directed by director Lee Kwon of film “Door Lock,” the second season of “Save Me” is set to premiere in the first half of 2019.
