Nam Tae Hyun Opens Up About The Difficulties Of Running His Own Agency

Nam Tae Hyun revealed the surprising reason why he appeared on “Immortal Songs” without his band South Club.

On the February 23 episode of the KBS 2TV singing competition, Kim Jong Seo, Seo Moon Tak, Son Seung Yeon, Nam Tae Hyun, Forestella, and Haeun appeared as guests and performed covers of songs by the rock band Queen.

Nam Tae Hyun appeared on the show without South Club, and the hosts asked him why he had come alone. Nam Tae Hyun candidly replied, “To be honest, running a company by myself, [it’s a considerable financial burden] to pay for all the hair, makeup, and clothing expenses. So I said we should seek a compromise and decided to appear on my own today.” The cast couldn’t help but laugh at his honest response.

When asked if he felt pressure about performing a song by Queen, Nam Tae Hyun shared, “[Queen] is a band I really like and one that I’ve been referencing [in my own music], so I think it will be an all-or-nothing stage. However, I think this [performance] could become a starting point that allows me to do many other things in the future, so I practiced hard. I’m not lying when I say that I practiced this song more than 500 times.”
