Nam Joo Hyuk On The Type Of Character He Wants To Play, 2019 Goals, And More

Actor Nam Joo Hyuk appeared on the February 28 broadcast of KBS 2FM’s “Soohyun’s Raise the Volume,” hosted by Akdong Musician’s Soohyun.

Introducing his currently airing drama, “Radiant,” Nam Joo Hyuk said, “The drama has aired to about episode 6 now. It’s funny, and it’s also sad. It’s a drama that allows us to look back on our lives.”

The actor then took the time to answer some fan questions. One fan asked which parent he takes after more, and he said, “My mother. I have her lips and eyebrows.”

Nam Joo Hyuk, who starred in the movie “The Great Battle” alongside Jo In Sung and Park Sung Woong, previously said his alcohol tolerance went up after doing the movie. When a fan asked how his tolerance is now, he said, “It was my first movie, and there are a lot of outings. I had a lot of great senior actors with me, and during our six months of shooting together, we drank a lot, so my tolerance improved.” However, the actor said his limit is still about one bottle of soju. “I’m not a big fan of alcohol,” said Nam Joo Hyuk.

Nam Joo Hyuk talked about his hopes for 2019 and said, “I want it to be a good, healthy year. I want to do well in the projects I take on, and I want to do a lot of them. In the drama I’m doing now, things are hard for my character. I want to try playing a character that’s even more heart-wrenching and deep.”
