Yang Hyun Suk Announces Update On Lee Hi’s Long-Awaited Comeback
Yang Hyun Suk has shared a promise to fans of Lee Hi and called her the artist “whom I feel most sorry for.”
On March 1, the YG Entertainment founder posted on Instagram to write: “Almost done with recording of new solo album for Lee Hi, whom I feel most sorry for and cherish most. I promise two comebacks for Lee Hi in 2019!!”
Lee Hi first became well known when she competed on SBS’s “K-Pop Star,” eventually earning second place in the finale in spring 2012. She joined YG Entertainment after the competition, and debuted as a solo artist in fall 2012 with “1,2,3,4.” The talented songstress went on to release popular songs like “It’s Over,” “Rose,” “Breathe,” and “Hold My Hand.”
Her last comeback in Korea was in April 2016 with her full album “Seoulite,” and fans have been eagerly awaiting her return.
