Watch: Super Junior’s Choi Siwon And Lee Yoo Young Are Married And Clueless About Each Other’s Day Jobs In New Drama

KBS 2TV’s “My Fellow Citizens” has released its first teasers!

“My Fellow Citizens” is a comedy crime drama about conman Yang Jung Guk (played by Super Junior’s Choi Siwon), who gets swept up in various incidents and finds himself running for a seat in the National Assembly, and his wife Kim Mi Young (played by Lee Yoo Young), who is a police officer.

On March 5, the upcoming drama gave viewers a peek at the hilarious storyline.

In the first teaser, Choi Siwon texts his on-screen wife Lee Yoo Young asking where she is. She replies that she’s at the office, when in fact she’s actually accosting a criminal. When she asks her husband what he’s up to, he replies that he’s in the middle of doing business, when he’s actually running away from people who are after him because he swindled them out of money.

The two unexpectedly run into each other and ask what the other is doing. She lies that she left work early, while he says that his meeting was canceled. They walk arm-in-arm to dinner with a handful of secrets and growing suspicions about one another.

In the second teaser, Choi Siwon describes himself as a doctor, lawyer, and businessman before finding himself tied up and sitting in front of private moneylender Park Hoo Ja (played by Kim Min Jung).

She says, “It’s been a while. No need for a long conversation. Yang Jung Guk, I need you to do a job.” He questions why he should, but immediately agrees after seeing the burly men around him. When he asks who the target is, she answers, “The citizens?” and the camera zooms into the National Assembly building.

A source from the drama said, “The second teaser tells the story of moneylender Park Hoo Ja, who proposes to swindler Yang Jung Guk a dangerous offer that he can’t refuse. ‘My Fellow Citizens’ is a comedy crime drama where Jung Guk and Hoo Ja are preparing a con with the citizens as their target.”

“My Fellow Citizens” will premiere on April 1 at 10 p.m. KST. Check out the second teaser here:
