Lim Jimin From "The Fan" Talks About Friendships With TXT's Beomgyu, Stray Kids' I.N, And More

FAVE Entertainment trainee Lim Jimin, who placed No. 3 on SBS survival show “The Fan,” recently sat down for an interview with media outlet Newsen.

During the interview, he admitted feeling a bit envious of his friends who have already debuted. He shared, “Of those who already debuted, I am close with TXT’s Beomgyu, Stray Kids’ I.N, [Lee] Eui Woong, and TRCNG’s Hohyeon,” and added that his friends expressed their wishes for him to debut soon so they can meet at broadcasting stations. He continued, “‘Jjim,’ which my fans call me, is a nickname given to me by Beomgyu.”

He was also asked about ITZY’s Yeji, who he competed with on “The Fan.” He responded, “I did not have an opportunity to become friends with her, but I watched her debut. I am always cheering her on.”

Lim Jimin is currently preparing to debut in an idol group through FAVE Entertainment. On his goals after debuting, he revealed, “My goal is to become a singer who is not lacking in any area. As a group, I hope we can last for a long time and break the seven-year jinx. I want to work hard so our group can win a rookie award, and one day, I would like to win a solo performance award.”
