MAMAMOO’s Hwasa Reveals A Hilarious TMI Moment On “Sketchbook”
On the March 8 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” MAMAMOO’s Hwasa appeared as a guest and participated in a “TMI (too much information)” segment where she answered questions from audience members.
Hwasa, who made headlines with her eating adventures on “I Live Alone,” fielded a question about how she can eat like she does and stay in shape.
Hwasa started, “Ever since I was young, my bowel movements..” Yoo Hee Yeol and the audience laughed, and she said, in all seriousness, “No, really. It really makes a difference. I digest even as I’m eating. I also eat really slowly. I think that has an effect.”
The next audience question was about if Hwasa ever experienced trouble while on television because of her active bowels.
“It was when I was filming ‘I Live Alone.’ There are camera men in your house. Because there were people in my house, I couldn’t… you know… [release any gas]. Because I couldn’t, my stomach would start rumbling.”
She continued, “Eventually, I couldn’t take it. I thought I would die. Our agency is close, so I said I would do it at the agency and come back. I didn’t even know how to turn off the mic they had on me, so I just went. I couldn’t get it to turn off, so I just grabbed the mic to cover it and went about my business, screaming and everything.”
Hwasa said that later, Shin Dong Yup told her they can still hear everything even if you cover the mic. “After that, it’s become a little awkward between me and the sound director. I can’t properly say hi to him.”
Yoo Hee Yeol asked if she’s allowed to say all of this, and Hwasa just said, “I’m not, but they asked.”
