With just one week left till it ends, KBS’s “My Only One” has broken its personal best record in viewership ratings yet again!

According to statistics released by Nielsen Korean on March 11, the episode that aired on March 10 scored nationwide viewership ratings between 44.1 percent and 49.4 percent, breaking the drama’s previous record of 46.2 percent.

The drama has already surpassed the 50 percent mark in some regions of Korea, including Daejeon at 49.8 to 56.3 percent, Daegu and Gumi at 47.7 to 54.2 percent, and Busan at 48.4 to 54 percent. The average ratings of Seoul and the surrounding metropolitan area, Busan, Gwangju, Daejeon, Daegu and Gumi was recorded at 47.2 to 51.2 percent.

The last drama to surpass 50 percent in nationwide viewership ratings was 2010’s hit KBS drama “Baker King, Kim Tak Goo” at 50.8 percent. “My Only One” is just 0.6 percent away from becoming the first drama to reach 50 percent in nine years.
