TXT Becomes Fastest K-Pop Group To Chart On Billboard 200 + Debuts At No. 1 On World Albums Chart
TXT has made an incredible debut on the Billboard charts!
On March 11, Billboard announced that Big Hit Entertainment’s new boy group TXT had debuted at No. 1 on several of its latest charts. Just one week after their debut on March 4, the group managed to top Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart, which ranks the most popular developing artists in the United States, for the week ending on March 16.
TXT also managed to top both the World Albums chart and the World Digital Song Sales chart with their debut mini album “The Dream Chapter: STAR” and its accompanying title track “CROWN” respectively. Several other songs from the mini album charted as well: “Blue Orangeade” debuted at No. 10, “Cat & Dog” at No. 14, and “Our Summer” at No. 17 on the World Digital Song Sales chart.
Not only did TXT top multiple charts with their debut, but they also broke more than one record on Billboard’s famous Top 200 Albums chart. “The Dream Chapter: STAR” entered the chart at No. 140, making it the highest-charting debut album by any male K-pop group in history. Additionally, TXT now holds the record for the fastest K-pop group to chart on the Billboard 200.
Congratulations to TXT on their record-breaking debut!
