BTS Lands 2nd And 3rd Spots On IFPI's List Of Best-Selling Global Albums In 2018

BTS released the No. 2 and No. 3 best-selling albums of 2018 worldwide!

On March 13, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) announced its Global Album Chart for 2018. The IFPI is a non-profit organization that represents the recorded music industry worldwide, and its Global Album Chart combines international physical and digital album unit sales.

BTS’s “Love Yourself: Answer” took No. 2 on the Global Album Chart and was followed by “Love Yourself: Tear” in the No. 3 spot. The only album to have sold more worldwide in 2018 was the soundtrack for the film “The Greatest Showman.”

It was previously announced that BTS took the No. 2 spot on the IFPI’s Global Artist Chart for last year, which names the best-selling artists worldwide.

Meanwhile, the group is currently getting ready to return with their new release “Map of the Soul: Persona” on April 12.
