Ahn So Hee Shares The Valuable Life Experience She Gained From Filming “Welcome To Waikiki 2”
The idol-turned-actress, who will be gracing the cover of the magazine’s April issue, is starring in the highly-anticipated second season of JTBC’s hit drama “Welcome to Waikiki” as Kim Jung Eun, a hard-working friend of Lee Yi Kyung‘s character Lee Joon Gi. Dubbed the queen of part-time jobs, the penny-pinching Kim Jung Eun is a former aspiring actress who will work any job she can get her hands on in order to make ends meet.
Ahn So Hee, who debuted as a Wonder Girls member at the young age of 14 (by international reckoning), explained that “Welcome to Waikiki 2” had given her the unique opportunity of taking on many different types of jobs that she had never experienced before.
“Because I debuted early, I didn’t have much of a chance to try other lines of work,” she commented, “so I was excited that I could at least act out lots of different part-time jobs in this drama, and I had so much fun.”
When asked how she dealt with the stress and anxiety of decision-making, Ahn So Hee replied, “I don’t go out of my way to avoid [such feelings], and I let my thoughts naturally guide me. Afterwards, I remind myself of why I initially decided to start this [work], and I return to my original state of mind once again. That clears up my feelings of anxiety.”
“Welcome to Waikiki 2” premieres on March 25 at 9:30 p.m. KST and will be available with English subtitles on Viki. In the meantime, check out a teaser for the drama below!
