Main Vocalist Of Boy Group Touches Hearts With His Warm Vocal Tone On "The King Of Mask Singer"

On the March 17 episode of “The King of Mask Singer,” “Walnut confection” went against “Small rice cake rice cake” in the first round. Together, they performed the emotional ballad “Can I Love Again” by 4Men and Park Jung Eun.

To prove his special talent of being able to jump over a standing man, “Walnut confection” jumped over panelists Kim Ho Young and Nam Tae Hyun and impressed the crowd.

“Small rice cake rice cake” moved on to the next round with a 29-point lead, and “Walnut confection” had to take off his mask.

While singing TVXQ’s “I Believe,” he revealed himself to be none other than Golden Child’s Y!

At an interview with the production staff, he shared, “I didn’t think I would get so many cheers from the crowd. I felt so refreshed when I took the mask off. It was fun. My father used to be against me becoming a singer, but if he sees this, I think he’ll be proud.”

After the broadcast, he wrote on Golden Child’s official Twitter account, “‘Walnut confection’ from ‘The King of Mask Singer’ today was Y! I practiced hard in order to let Goldenness (Golden Child’s fandom name) listen to a nice song. How was it? Please continue to love Y and Golden Child~”
