The contestants of “Produce X 101” performed together for the first time!

On March 21, Mnet’s “M Countdown” featured a performance by the contestants of “Produce X 101,” the network’s upcoming fourth season of its popular survival show series. They took to the stage to perform their title track “X1-MA.”

For the first time in the show’s history, viewers took part in determining which contestant would be the “center” for this performance by voting online. There were 15 candidates, all in the A level, who were nominated for the position. Son Dong Pyo, a trainee at DSP Media, took the center spot.

The performance began with an introduction by the show’s MC, actor Lee Dong Wook. The contestants then got the chance to show off their talents and charm on stage as they performed the title track.

While there are many new faces on the show, debuted idols who were previously revealed as center candidate nominees are VICTON members Choi Byung Chan and Han Seung Woo, MYTEEN members Kim Kook Heon and Song Yu Vin, and UP10TION members Kim Woo Seok (Wooshin) and Lee Jin Hyuk (Wei). Other familiar idols and trainees have also been spotted by fans during the performance, and the full list of contestants has not yet been released.

“Produce X 101” will premiere on May 3 at 11 p.m. KST on Mnet.
