Watch: Park Bom Talks Emotionally With Tears And Smiles About Solo Comeback And 2NE1

Park Bom opened up about returning to the music scene in a new interview.

On March 20, Melon 1theK uploaded a “Spot Interview” with Park Bom, who released her single album “Spring” on March 13.

The singer was interviewed in Brave Brothers’ Brave Sound music studio and began by speaking about her concerns about recording with different people after signing with a new agency.

Park Bom revealed that after the disbandment of 2NE1, she thought a lot about continuing her career and how she would go about doing so. She laughed when she said that she considered many options such as studying or meeting a man and getting married, but in the end, came to the conclusion that singing was her one and only path.

She stated that at first, she didn’t want to pursue her career outside of YG Entertainment because she was with the agency since she was young. After going through a difficult time, she became more open to the idea of a comeback after talking with new producers such as Scotty Kim and listening to their music.

Park Bom became emotional and wiped away tears as she spoke about the supportive, encouraging comments under articles about her comeback, and smiled as she commented on topping music charts with “Spring.”

The singer was full of love for her former colleagues as she spoke about how Sandara Park‘s featuring role on her song reminded her of 2NE1 and said that she watches Sandara Park, Minzy, and CL’s performances. She also named Teddy as the first person she wanted to play “Spring” for after recording it.

Park Bom concluded the interview with a heartfelt message for Blackjacks. “I’m sorry that I made you wait so long, thank you for waiting,” she said. “Since I’ve started, I’ll do well. We’ll be happy.”

When asked about the possibility of a 2NE1 reunion, Park Bom replied, “Of course, I’d like to say yes. They’re all busy with their own work. But I believe it will be possible.”
