9 Times SEVENTEEN Made Fans’ Days With Their Instagram Interactions

Over half of SEVENTEEN’s members now have their own Instagram accounts, with S.Coups opening his personal profile on March 14 and joining Woozi, Vernon, Joshua, Seungkwan, Mingyu, and The8 on the platform. The boys definitely do not shy away from commenting on each other’s posts, which makes for some cute — and hilarious — interactions. Check out some of the highlights below!

When they’re eager to follow each other…

Every time a member opens their personal account, fans and fellow members alike rush to follow them, as seen here on S.Coups’s first Instagram post. Shortly after S.Coups’s account went public, The8 commented, “I can’t follow you. It must be because you’re too popular,” to which S.Coups replied, “Follow me later. Thanks!”

…most of the time.

Not all of the members are in a rush to follow each other, though. Woozi has yet to add anyone to his following count, even his own group mates. They were sure to bring this to Woozi’s attention in the post below, with Mingyu commenting, “I’m sorry, but could you hurry and follow me back?” and S.Coups adding, “Would it be possible for you to follow me, too?”

When they take care of each other’s meals.

Lots of the members’ posts involve food, and sometimes, when someone’s hunger gets the best of them, they place an order. In one of Joshua’s posts, he snapped a photo of his lunch date with Dino, to which Mingyu said, “Beef sashimi buckwheat noodles to go, please.” And Joshua, being the gentleman he is, replied, “For you, of course bro.”

When they correct each other’s spelling.

Not even SEVENTEEN is immune from typos, and the members love to point this out. It also helps with language learning, but it’s not always Korean that they’re correcting. One particularly amusing incident is when The8, a Chinese member, kindly corrected New York-born Vernon’s English spelling mistake.

When they see a chance and they take it.

SEVENTEEN is full of witty people, so when there’s an opportunity to show that off, you better believe they’ll take it. It’s even more amusing when they can throw in a clever promotion for a brand that they’re the models for, like in this exchange between Seungkwan and Vernon.

Seungkwan: cken.

When they show off their close bond by joking around…

SEVENTEEN loves to tease one another like in the post below, which Seungkwan captioned, “Americano, it’s strong, it’s strong, it’s strong.” Vernon then quipped, “Americano, you’re addicted, you’re addicted, you’re addicted,” and Mingyu jumped in with, “Coffee old man.”

…or when they get extra sassy.

Just like any group of friends, SEVENTEEN leaves their fair share of snarky comments on the members’ more questionable posts. In the caption for this photo, Mingyu calls out Seungkwan by saying, “Seungkwan, do you want to wear it, too?” But Seungkwan was quick to clarify that his expression in the picture was not one of admiration, replying, “Do you really think I’d want to wear that?”

When they’re each other’s biggest fans.

SEVENTEEN also makes sure to show their support for one another when it comes to their various pursuits.

For instance, when Seungkwan posted a cover of Beyonce’s “Sandcastles,” Joshua contributed his feedback, saying, “Get it boy!!! You on fire.” Seungkwan then cutely replied, “I’m shy love…”

And when they can’t stand to be apart for too long, because that’s how families are.

When a member goes on an individual trip or schedule, the others let them know that they’re thinking of them.

In this adorable exchange, Seungkwan says “I miss you (bo-gu-ship)” by combining the hand emoji (bo) and number nine (gu) with the Korean letter “ship,” to which The8 responds, “Me too.” After all, it’s better when they’re all together.
