Watch: Red Velvet Gives A Dance Lesson To Key's Foreign Guests On "Seoulmate 2"

Red Velvet made a surprise appearance on “Seoulmate 2”!

“Seoulmate 2” is a variety show where celebrities host foreigners who are visiting Korea. On the March 25 episode of the tvN program, Key took his three Parisian friends to the SM Entertainment building.

When they arrived at the agency, his friends couldn’t help but express their surprise and nervousness at the size of the building. As the tour guide to his foreign guests, Key led them around the company building and introduced the abundant merchandise found in SM’s shop, as well as a dance practice room that SM artists commonly use.

Once they got to the practice room, Key stated, “I sometimes spend my entire day here because of practice.” He also revealed that he had invited special K-pop dance instructors for his guests—Red Velvet.

Because “learning K-pop dances” was on the guests’ wish list for their stay in Korea, Key prepared this event. The guests became fans of Red Velvet after watching the girl group’s music videos, so they were unable to hide their smiles after meeting them in real life.

Kim Sook, a panelist on the show, had the studio laughing as she stated, “I’ve been watching them for a few weeks now, but this is the first time I’ve seen them look so happy.”

For their special day, the Parisian guests learned the choreography to Red Velvet’s “Red Flavor.” Although their dances were uncoordinated, Red Velvet took their roles as instructors seriously and didn’t give up as they passionately taught them the choreography.
