Watch: Kim Young Kwang, Jin Ki Joo, And More Gather For Script Reading For "The Secret Life Of My Secretary"

The cast and staff of “The Secret Life of My Secretary” tested their chemistry during their first gathering.

“The Secret Life of My Secretary” is a romantic comedy about cold-hearted boss Do Min Yik and his hot-tempered secretary Jung Gal Hee. On April 1, SBS released a making-of video for the script reading of the drama.

The clip began with introductions by director Lee Kwang Young and actors including leads Kim Young Kwang and Jin Ki Joo. The actress made everyone laugh when she said, “I’ll try my best so we can go on a reward vacation.” Former Rainbow member Kim Jae Kyung introduced herself as her character Veronica and also echoed her co-star’s hopes for a reward vacation.

Turning to the camera, Kim Young Kwang said to viewers, “Hello. This is Kim Young Kwang who’ll be playing the role of Do Min Yik in ‘The Secret Life of My Secretary.'” He then transformed into the director of T&T Mobile Media and portrayed his character’s cold and demanding side. Jin Ki Joo also introduced herself to viewers as Jung Gal Hee, a passionate, dependable secretary of the T&T Mobile Media director’s headquarters. The realistic acting of the two leads made everyone in the room burst into laughter

Kim Jae Kyung read some of her lines as the CEO of Cinepark, and actresses Jang So Yeon, Choi Yoon Ra, Son San, Han Ji Sun, and former 4Minute member Kwon Sohyun were also spotted participating in the script reading as other secretaries in the T&T Mobile office.

Kim Min Sang and Jung Ae Ri got into their roles as CEO of T&T Mobile and director of T&T Art Center, respectively, while Kim Ji Min and Seo Dong Won got into character as Jung Gal Hee’s siblings.

“The Secret Life of My Secretary” premieres on May 6 at 10 p.m. KST. Check out the clip below!
