Lee Soo Geun's Agency Clarifies Reports Of Golf Round With Cha Tae Hyun And Kim Joon Ho

Lee Soo Geun’s agency has denied involvement in betting over golf with Cha Tae Hyun and Kim Joon Ho.

On April 4, a news outlet reported that when Cha Tae Hyun and Kim Joon Ho made a bet over a round of golf, there were two other people playing the round including Lee Soo Geun.

In response, Lee Soo Geun’s agency SM C&C stated, “Lee Soo Geun did not take part in any monetary deals or any other actions that could be problematic legally or socially. He only participated in the round [of golf] after being invited by an acquaintance.” The agency continued by asking media and netizens to refrain from writing speculative articles and comments.

Another source from the agency commented that the KakaoTalk messages from the time were also checked, and there were only messages regarding the location and time of the golf match.

Previously, Cha Tae Hyun and Kim Joon Ho stepped down from all of their programs after reports of them betting large sums of money over the round of golf.
