Gilgu Bonggu’s Gilgu will be tying the knot this spring!

On April 5, the group’s agency Music Works stated, “Gilgu will be marrying a non-celebrity woman four years his junior at an undisclosed location in Seoul on May 18. The wedding will be held privately with the couple’s parents, family, and close acquaintances in attendance.” MC Ding Dong will be hosting the wedding ceremony, and Ha Dong Kyun will sing the nuptial song.

The singer later personally delivered the news of his marriage through his social media, saying, “Singing with Bonggu used to be my only joy, but when I developed dysphonia [hoarse voice], singing also became my joy and pain. I got to know ‘that person’ while I was going through the hardest time of my life. I want to spend the rest of my time, not as memories, but forever, with the person who made me laugh the hardest, and who I shared the purest days with. I will become a Gilgu who works hard at singing and a reliable husband. Thank you, Garam.”
