This means that BLACKPINK has set a new record for the fastest K-pop girl group music video to reach the milestone. The previous record was set by BLACKPINK’s previous release “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” which reached 40 million views in one day and three hours. The overall record for fastest K-pop music video to reach the milestone is held by BTS’s “IDOL” at 16 hours and 9 minutes.
