Lee Yoo Jin Confirmed To Join Chun Woo Hee In Upcoming Romantic Comedy

Lee Yoo Jin will be making his drama comeback!

On April 8, it was confirmed that Lee Yoo Jin will be joining the cast of JTBC’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Melo Is My Nature” (literal title).

“Melo Is My Nature” is a comedy drama that will address the concerns, romances, and daily lives of three women in their 30s as they end up living under the same roof. It will be the first drama to be directed by Lee Byung Hun of hit-films “Twenty” and “Extreme Job.”

Chun Woo Hee, Jeon Yeo Bin, and Han Ji Eun are confirmed as female leads, and it was also announced that Ahn Jae Hong and Gong Myung will join the drama as male leads.

Lee Yoo Jin will take on the role of Kim Hwan Dong, Im Jin Joo (Chun Woo Hee)’s ex-boyfriend who is also producing director Son Beom Soo (Ahn Jae Hong)’s assistant director. He is unnecessarily polite and logical. Im Jin Joo and Kim Hwan Dong break up after dating for seven years, but they end up reuniting as an assistant director and a writer.

Lee Yoo Jin became popular after participating in the second season of Mnet’s survival show series “Produce 101.” Since then, he has been building up a successful acting career by appearing in JTBC’s drama “Age of Youth 2” and tvN’s “Familiar Wife.”

“Melo Is My Nature” is set to premiere sometime in July.
