CLC's Seungyeon, KARD's Somin, And More To Compete To Become The "Next Beauty Creator"

A new kind of beauty variety show is headed our way.

On April 9, OnStyle revealed information about its variety program “Next Beauty Creator” where seven beauty influencers compete in a beauty content race.

After creating their own YouTube channels, the contestants will plan, direct, and upload one new video a week. Their content will be judged based on the number of views and subscribers, and whoever gets first place will become the “next beauty creator.”

OnStyle will merge its specialty of beauty programs with the new trend of the public’s interest in influencers to create a unique show. Stylist Han Hye Yeon, who’s known for her insight in fashion and beauty and fun way of speaking, will be the show’s MC.

Model Jang Eun Hong, who became a hot topic after appearing on Mnet’s “I Can See Your Voice 6”

Each of the seven contestants posted a video on their channels on April 9 at 5 p.m. KST to announce the start of the competition. Star beauty creators will appear on every episode as guests to give their professional advice to these contestants.

Producing director Lee Sang Ho said, “It’s a program where Onstyle, which is famous for its beauty content, is attempting something new in the changing beauty market. We’re planning to produce it to match the digital target audience who enjoys beauty content online and on their phones. Since beauty influencers with a wide range of ages and lifestyles will be appearing, we’ll be able to show a wider variety of content to viewers.”
