Comedian Lee Yong Jin To Wed Girlfriend Of 7 Years Today

Comedian Lee Yong Jin is getting married today to his girlfriend of seven years! The ceremony will be private, out of respect for his non-celebrity bride.

Lee Yong Jin initially shared the news of his upcoming wedding last month through his Instagram. He uploaded photos from their wedding pictorial, captioning it, “Thank you for congratulating us. We will live happily.”

After sharing news of his marriage, he lovingly described his bride-to-be as “someone who is very wise and makes sure that I do not falter.”

Even before news of his engagement, Lee Yong Jin had revealed his longstanding private relationship on various programs. Back in February, he even shared that he was thinking of marriage with his girlfriend on KBS 2TV’s “Six-Party Talks.”

He also spoke of marriage while appearing on the March 30 episode of MBC’s “The Manager.” His close friend Yang Se Hyung praised Lee Yong Jin’s girlfriend, saying “including everything in this studio right now, everything would turn to diamonds if she were to touch it. She is extremely clever and polite. She is someone who is able to tend to Lee Yong Jin’s rough traits. They are such a good couple.”

Lee Yong Jin also described his simple yet meaningful proposal on the show. He said “there wasn’t much. My girlfriend came over so I took a flower I received as a gift and asked her to marry me”, puzzling other guests as to why he proposed with flowers he received as a gift instead of ones he prepared himself. Lee Yong Jin then followed up by saying “I suddenly thought that I would be so happy if she said she would marry me right now. These thoughts just came flooding to me. After proposing, I was the one crying. I was apologetic for making her wait so long. I was crying so hard, while my girlfriend was just laughing.”
