Nielsen Korea Temporarily Unable To Provide Viewership Ratings

Nielsen Korea was unable to distribute viewership ratings data for April 13 and 14.

They explained, “A problem arose while collecting daily viewership data from the nationwide family panel.” They added, “Due to the unexpected error, we were unable to gather the minimum number of families from the panel.”

In the case that Nielsen Korea is unable to collect over 85 percent of the viewership records from the entire family panel, they do not distribute the viewership ratings information due to problems regarding reliability and representation of the ratings data.

Nielsen Korea shared, “To fix the problem, we have to collect yesterday’s viewership records once more.” They added, “We ask for your kind understanding despite having caused problems to several businesses, and we will do our best to prevent this from occurring again.”

Nielsen Korea is planning on revealing the delayed viewership ratings data in order of broadcast on the morning of April 15.
