Watch: IZ*ONE And FTISLAND's Lee Hong Ki Are Awestruck By "Produce X 101" Contestants In Special Preview

Mnet has released a preview for “Produce X 101: The Beginning” (literal title)!

“Produce X 101: The Beginning” is a special show that will air a week before the premiere of “Produce X 101” and reveal some spoilers from the show.

Hosted by FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki, who was one of the vocal coaches on “Produce 48,” the special program features IZ*ONE reacting to clips of the new season’s contestants.

In the preview, the members of IZ*ONE are amazed by the “Produce X 101” contestants’ impressive vocal and dance skills.

Viewers will also get a glimpse of footage from the Runway Show, where the contestants got to meet the “national producers” (fans) for the first time. IZ*ONE’s Kwon Eun Bi reacts with surprise, saying, “We didn’t have that in our [season]!”

Lee Hong Ki concludes the preview by asking fans to look forward to the program and comments with aegyo-filled gestures, “It’s like I’m going to be a contestant on the show.”

“Produce X 101: The Beginning” is set to air on April 26 at 11 p.m. KST, and “Produce X 101” will premiere a week after that on May 3 at 11 p.m. KST.
