Watch: SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu And Seungkwan Crack Everyone Up On “Running Man”
Mingyu and Seungkwan couldn’t hide their excitement from the moment they entered, saying, “This is our first official appearance after the ‘100 vs. 100 race’ in 2015.”
Seungkwan, who has earned the title “talent machine” for his various unique talents, did not disappoint during his guest appearance. The idol impressed the cast with his impersonation of Lee Sora, as well as his viral cover of Yoon Jong Shin‘s “Wi-Fi.” The “Running Man” members commented, “We didn’t know you had so many talents.”
Mingyu was introduced as the visual of SEVENTEEN, and he was asked whether there was a “Running Man” cast member with whom he would choose to swap faces. The idol made everyone laugh when he responded by slowly backing away from them and apologizing. Mingyu and Seungkwan then impressed everyone with their synchronization as they danced to their song “Home” without any background music.
Hani and Solji also showed off their variety skills during the episode. Solji, who was making her first appearance on “Running Man,” said playfully, “I think your timing for inviting me was a bit late. There was a time when I was the No. 1 trending search right when I came back [from my hiatus], so it’s unfortunate.”
Hani showed off a unique dance from one of her most famous commercials and changed the lyrics to fit “Running Man.” Meanwhile, Solji showed off an impersonation of her lookalike actor Im Won Hee, and she later harmonized with Hani on the spot. Everyone shared a good laugh when Lee Kwang Soo also tried harmonizing with Solji.
During the episode, the cast and guests competed in a race to become the No. 1 realtime trending search on Korean portal sites, and all of the guests showed determination to win.
