SBS’s hit drama “Haechi” is still going strong!

On April 22, “Haechi” successfully maintained its position as the most-watched drama of Monday and Tuesday nights, scoring not only the highest viewership ratings in its time slot but also the highest ratings of any drama airing that evening.

According to Nielsen Korea, the latest broadcast of the historical drama scored average nationwide ratings of 7.3 percent during its first half and 8.8 percent during its second. “Haechi” performed even better in the Seoul metropolitan area, where it scored average viewership ratings of 8.1 percent and 8.8 percent, with a peak of 9.3 percent for the night.

MBC’s “Special Labor Inspector, Mr. Jo” trailed at a relatively close second, scoring average nationwide ratings of 5.7 percent and 6.6 percent (6.6 percent and 7.6 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area). KBS TV’s “My Fellow Citizens” came in third with average nationwide ratings of 4.3 percent and 5.4 percent (4.2 percent and 5.3 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area).

Among cable network dramas (for which viewership ratings are calculated in a slightly different manner), tvN’s “He is Psychometric” scored an average viewership rating of 2.6 percent, while JTBC’s “Welcome to Waikiki 2” scored an average rating of 1.3 percent for the night.
