Former A-JAX Member Dowoo Announces Marriage With Letter To Fans
Former A-JAX member Dowoo (former stage name Hyeongkon) is getting ready to tie the knot soon!
On April 24, it was reported that Dowoo will be getting married on May 11 at a location in Gangnam. As revealed through an interview, his fiancée is two years older and previously worked as a model in Japan. The two met while A-JAX was promoting in Japan.
Soon after news of his marriage was released, Dowoo personally posted a gorgeous wedding photo of him and his fiancée to his Instagram with the special announcement.

Hello, this is Dowoo who used to be Hyeongkon. I was going to announce the news of the marriage more slowly and quietly…. Earlier, an article was suddenly released, so I have come to deliver the news like this.
Following the expiration of A-JAX’s contract, I wanted to start my second life as not an idol but as just one man with the person I love!
I want to simultaneously apologize and express gratitude to the many people who have treasured and supported me who is very lacking for a long time.
Thank you very much to everyone who has congratulated me after hearing the news.
In the future, I will show myself working harder than any other person as a man, as a husband, and as the head of one family, so please continue looking after me in the future.
Dowoo debuted as A-JAX’s leader Hyeongkon in 2012, and the group released albums including “ONE 4 U,” “HOT GAME,” “2MYX,” “Insane,” and “Snake.” Furthermore, he starred in KBS 2TV’s “IRIS 2,” and after changing his stage name to Dowoo, he featured in numerous musicals, continuing to show off his skills in acting.
On March 31, A-JAX’s exclusive contract with DSP Media expired after seven years, and the members decided to pursue separate paths. Currently, Dowoo has been greeting his fans through his YouTube channel “Dowoo TV.”
