SM Denies Reports Of EXO Collaborating With Interior Company Involved In Controversy

SM Entertainment has responded to rumors of EXO collaborating with the interior company Hanssem Effex.

On April 23, a screenshot spread of an article stating that EXO and Hanssem Effex will be launching a furniture collaboration.

Hanssem Effex is under Hanssem, which was previously under fire for poor management of a sexual assault case within the company. A female employee posted online about being sexually assaulted by male employees and called out the company for not taking proper action.

As a result, fans of EXO trended a hashtag on Twitter that translates into, “Hanssem boycott. Cancel the collaboration, SM.”

In response to the reports, SM Entertainment clarified, “We have not signed a contract with Hanssem Effex and have no plans to do so in the future.”
