Watch: NCT Dream Pays Tribute To BoA In Cover Of "No. 1" On "Immortal Songs"

On April 27, KBS’s “Immortal Songs” aired the second part of their 400th episode special in Japan.

The theme for this week’s episode was “Korean pop songs that are popular in Japan.” Invited to perform were singers Gummy, JBJ95, Jung Dong Ha, Kim Jae Hwan, Ali, and NCT Dream.

In the pre-performance interview, NCT Dream shared that EXO’s Chen had visited them during practice. “He watched us for a bit and told us to work hard and not make mistakes,” they said. “He gave us good advice.”

For their song, NCT Dream chose BoA’s “No. 1” and said, “This is a song that BoA made so successful and we worried about whether we could do it justice.”

As the final performers in the episode, they put on a good performance that combined powerful choreography with NCT Dream’s trademark youthful energy.
