Watch: JBJ95 Lights Up

On April 27, KBS’s “Immortal Songs” aired the second part of their 400th episode special in Japan.

The theme for this week’s episode was “Korean pop songs that are popular in Japan.” Invited to perform were singers Gummy, JBJ95, Jung Dong Ha, Kim Jae Hwan, Ali, and NCT Dream.

Performing second after Gummy was JBJ95, who chose to cover TVXQ’s “Mirotic.” Sanggyun said, “We were really nervous because it’s TVXQ and their concerts in Japan are huge.”

In the pre-performance interview, the hosts asked Kenta if he was more comfortable performing in his native Japan. He replied, “On the contrary, I’m even more nervous. Because this is my home country, I feel the pressure more. Also, it’s the 400th episode special, so it’s an honor to perform, but it makes me that much more nervous.”

Kenta then made everyone laugh when he said, “My mother came to the recording, but she came to see PENTAGON and IZ*ONE. She visited me in the waiting room and then left.” (PENTAGON and IZ*ONE performed on last week’s episode.)
