TWICE's Foreign Members Share The Ways They've Become More Korean

TWICE’s foreign members talked about the funny ways they’ve adjusted to Korean culture on JTBC’s “Idol Room”!

On the April 30 episode, Sana, Momo, Mina, and Tzuyu were asked by the Japanese members of IZ*ONE if there are times that they thought they were Korean. Momo and Sana, who have both lived in Korea for eight years, said, “Sometimes, when we’re speaking Japanese, we mix in Korean words.” Momo added that she thinks to herself in Korean when she’s shopping.

Furthermore, the foreign members said their tastes have become more Korean, saying, “When we go overseas, we crave kimchi stew, and we make sure to pack Korean ramen.”

Momo revealed she is even mistaken as a foreigner in Japan. “They start speaking to me in English,” she said, “So I reply to them in English.”
