Watch: "Produce X 101" Teases An Intense First Episode Full Of Twists And Turns

A new flock of trainees are ready to test their skills in Mnet’s “Produce X 101”!

“Produce X 101” shared their first episode teaser for the show, which will air on May 3 at 11 p.m. KST.

The teaser begins with someone asking, “What does that X mean?” Other voices can be heard saying, “It’s going to destroy everything we knew from the previous seasons,” and “It feels like everything has changed.” Lee Dong Wook can then be heard announcing, “This year, the number of trainees who debut will not be 11.”

The trainees then size each other up as they talk about which agency each trainee is from. The judges watch evaluations and aren’t afraid to tell it like it is as Cheetah tells a trainee, “How are you planning to perform on stage?” and Kwon Jae Seung says, “You’re not here to be clumsy and mess around.” A trainee can be heard saying, “Rank X trainees must be going home,” and Lee Dong Wook tells a trainee he has been put in the X rankings.
