Watch: "Produce X 101" Trainees Impress With Self-Composed Song, Dance Covers, And More In Preview

“Produce X 101” revealed a seven-minute preview of its first episode!

The preview begins with the individual trainees entering the stage, one of whom is Lee Eugene, the actor that appeared in “SKY Castle” as Woo Soo Han. Many of the other trainees express their surprise to see him there. Then, during the interview with a staff member of “Produce X 101,” Lee Eugene acts out one of his lines from the drama. He says, “The best part in a pyramid is not the top. It’s the middle. The middle is the best.”

The staff member asks, “Were you acting just now?” Lee Eugene replies, “Yes,” and continues, “Honestly, my hope is first place. In life, being in the middle is the best, but sometimes it’s necessary to be at the top of the pyramid.”

Then, as Jellyfish Entertainment’s trainees enter the stage, the other trainees are stunned by their handsome looks. HONGYI Entertainment’s Tony says, “Coming here, I’ve realized there are so many good looking people in this world.”

Around US Entertainment’s trainee Woo Je Won comments, “They’re just full of handsome.” His labelmate trainee Choi Si Hyuk asks, “What about us?” Their fellow Around Us trainee Jeong Jae Hun responds, “My cheeks are about to explode.” The camera moves on to show glimpses of several trainees checking their looks to make sure they look spotless.

The next set of trainees that appear are from Brand New Music. Soyou says, “I heard you will be performing a self-created song. I’ll look forward to it.” The trainees watch them perform in awe.

When DSP Media’s trainee Son Dong Pyo is asked to show the panel something more, he asks what they want to see. Impressed by his confidence, Lee Dong Wook picks a random song for him, which turns out to be MOMOLAND’s “BBoom BBoom,” and he wows everyone with his on-the-spot dance cover. After the dance, Lee Dong Wook comments, “You seemed to be looking at me and making different facial expressions at me…” Son Dong Pyo responds, “I was trying to win you over.”
