Watch: Ahn Hyo Seop And Park Bo Young Find Themselves In Unbelievable Situations In Highlight Video For “Abyss”

Viewers got another exciting peek at tvN’s upcoming drama “Abyss”!

“Abyss” is a fantasy drama about two childhood friends who are murdered then brought back to life thanks to a magical stone called Abyss. They are reincarnated as people with completely different appearances and set out to find the people responsible for their deaths.

On May 2, the highlight video gave more background on how childhood friends Go Se Yeon (played by Park Bo Young) and Cha Min (played by Ahn Hyo Seop) were brought back to life, the investigation into their deaths, and various situations that occur in between.

Ahn Hyo Seop perfectly captures the joy of his character Cha Min, who’s very satisfied with his new appearance. Meanwhile, Park Bo Young’s character Go Se Yeon is full of dismay at her new look and complains to her childhood friend who reincarnated her.

Beneath Cha Min’s surface of joy, however, he tries to deal with the mysterious disappearance of his girlfriend and her harsh words about his previous appearance. Things get even more complicated when Cha Min gets named as a suspect in Go Se Yeon’s murder.

Park Bo Young shows off the charisma of a beautiful prosecutor but also makes hearts flutter with the dialect, cuteness, and various charms her character uses to get to the bottom of the case.

Other characters who are connected through the magical stone Abyss include genius doctor Lee Sung Jae (played by Oh Young Chul), who has two different personalities, homicide detective Park Dong Chul (played by Lee Si Eon), who mistakes Go Se Yeon for his ex-girlfriend, and Cha Min’s fiancée Jang Hee Jin (played by Han So Hee), who mysteriously disappears.

Various comical, mysterious, and frightening situations take place as the two leads try to get to the bottom of their murders.

“Abyss” premieres on May 6 at 9:30 p.m. KST. Check out the highlight clip below!
