Rain, Lim Ji Yeon, And Kwak Si Yang Confirmed For Upcoming MBC Drama

Rain, Lim Ji Yeon, and Kwak Si Yang have been confirmed for MBC’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Welcome 2 Life”!

“Welcome 2 Life” is a fantasy drama that will tell the story about a selfish lawyer who helps people who want to take advantage of the law. One day he gets sucked into a parallel universe due to an unfortunate accident and begins to live a completely new life as an upright prosecutor.

Rain will be taking on the role of the selfish lawyer Lee Jae Sang. As the ace lawyer from JK Law Firm, one of the nation’s top five law firms, he’s a person who can create something from nothing in order to win. However, due to a traffic accident, he gets sucked into a parallel universe and begins to live life as an upright prosecutor.

Meanwhile, Lim Ji Yeon will be playing Lee Jae Sang’s ex-girlfriend Ra Si On, a detective who acts before she thinks. Although Ra Si On has a tough personality, she’s also a warm and pure person by nature. After breaking up with Lee Jae Sang 10 years ago, the two are on bad terms. However, in the parallel universe, she’s a bright, energetic, and optimistic working mom who supports Lee Jae Sang with love and trust as his wife.

In particular, the drastically different chemistry Lee Jae Sang and Ra Si On will portray as exes who are on bad terms in the real world versus the couple that make a fantastic investigative team in the parallel universe will be an interesting comparison to look forward to.

Finally, Kwak Si Yang will be taking on the role of Goo Dong Taek who is Ra Si On’s trusting partner and sunbae. As a police officer from the same police station as Ra Si On, he’s known for his fiery personality, but in actuality, he’s someone soft rather than tough on the inside.

With the star-studded lineup, “Welcome 2 Life” will broadcast near the end of July and will begin filming once casting is complete. The fantastic new drama will air after the second season of “Partners for Justice” concludes.
