"I Live Alone" Cast Members Talk About Continuing The Show After Jun Hyun Moo And Han Hye Jin's Hiatus

On the May 10 episode of MBC’s “I Live Alone,” the cast members took a moment to reflect on Jun Hyun Moo and Han Hye Jin’s hiatus from the show.

Jun Hyun Moo and Han Hye Jin met through “I Live Alone” and went public with their relationship in February 2018. In March 2019, they announced that they had broken up and that they were both taking some time off from the show.

In the May 10 episode, while the whole cast was visiting Lee Si Eon’s house, Kian 84 reflected, “I’ve been doing my best. We worked hard.” Park Na Rae mentioned the first episode that aired after their departure, which was about their trip to Hong Kong, and said, “It helped a lot. It was the best.”

Hwasa said, “I’ll be honest. It doesn’t feel too different from how it was before.” Park Na Rae said she could be honest and said, “You don’t have to pay lip service. If we got more boring, just say so,” but Hwasa replied, “It was really fun to watch.”

The cast members then said that they should forbid flirting between male and female cast members from now on. Park Na Rae said, “Let’s make it a rule that we can’t give gifts to members of the opposite sex.”

Lee Si Eon said, “We need to react well to what the other people are saying,” referring to the fact that the cast members are filling up the space left by the two members on hiatus. Park Na Rae added, “When you laugh, you have to clap while laughing.” Henry also commented, “I think we have to treat the guests even better.”

The cast members then wrote short notes to share how they felt about each other. Kian 84 wrote about Lee Si Eon, “They say that you won’t get sick from repressed emotions if you let your anger out. Live your life without being afraid of getting angry.” To Park Na Rae, who has taken the role of temporary leader after Jun Hyun Moo’s hiatus, Kian 84 wrote, “You must be feeling the pressure because of the sudden responsibility, but I think that you can do it well.”

Lee Si Eon wrote to Park Na Rae, “You should cut down on the number of TV shows you do and put your all into ‘I Live Alone,'” a suggestion that Park Na Rae protested. Hwasa wrote to her, “Unni, you’re doing a good job of leading us.”

After watching the footage of themselves at Lee Si Eon’s house, Park Na Rae said, “We filmed this a month ago and I think that we’re more relaxed than we were then. Before, we felt a lot of pressure, but now I think the members all have a sense of responsibility. I’m glad we could talk about how we felt. Let’s cheer up and move forward.”
