BTS Maintains No. 1 With “Boy With Luv”; Soompi’s K-Pop Music Chart 2019, May Week 2

We had a heavyweight battle for the top spot this week. BTS and TWICE both eyed the top spot with their latest hits “Boy With Luv” and “FANCY,” respectively. In the end, “Boy With Luv” prevailed by just three points, repeating as our No. 1 song. This song won on “Music Bank” again and was able to hold off “FANCY” for this week’s top spot. Congratulations again to BTS!

TWICE’s “FANCY” is the only new song in the top 10 this week, moving up 11 spots to No. 2. This song is the title track of TWICE’s seventh mini-album “FANCY YOU.” It is a dance song about finding love and never letting it go. “FANCY” won on “Inkigayo,” “M Countdown,” and “Show Champion” last week. However, it didn’t score as well as “Boy With Luv” on other chart sources so it has to settle for second this week.

Rounding out the top three is BLACKPINK’s former No. 1 song “Kill This Love,” dropping one spot to No. 3.
