BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU" Makes History As 1st K-Pop Group MV To Reach 800 Million Views

BLACKPINK has reached a historical milestone!

On May 11 at approximately 4:18 p.m. KST, the music video for BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” surpassed 800 million views on YouTube. The music video was released on June 15, 2018, meaning they were able to achieve this feat in less than a year at approximately 10 months and 26 days.

“DDU-DU DDU-DU” is now the first music video released by a K-pop group to reach 800 million views. As the first music video to reach the milestone, it also sets the benchmark for the fastest time it’s taken to reach 800 million views.
