The Boyz reunited with Defconn and put their multiple charms on full display on JTBC’s “Idol Room”!

On the May 14 broadcast, the group was introduced as the first idols to be part of the “Conn-line,” indicating their close relationship to rapper Defconn. They entered yelling “Boss!” making Defconn smile. The unlikely combo previously filmed the 1theK series “The Boyz School” together.

Defconn worked hard to let The Boyz show off their talents. Sangyeon was marked as the creator of trendy dances, but the idol was modest in saying, “I hope that it will become popular,” and showed off his comedic “meringue dance.” Hyunjae also showed he could mimic a recorder with his hands, and Juyeon displayed his taekwondo skills, doing consecutive turn kicks. On the other hand, New tried to display his mental math abilities, but his clumsiness made Defconn uneasy.

The Boyz further stated that BTS is their role model, and members Q, Hwall, Juyeon, Sunwoo, and Eric performed a dance cover of “Boy With Luv.”

In the “Fact Check” segment of the show, MC Jung Hyung Don revealed that Juyeon was ranked fifth alongside MONSTA X’s Hyungwon on the 2019 list of idol ‘visual geniuses’ behind ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, BTS’s V, NU’EST’s Minhyun, and GOT7’s Jinyoung. Juyeon said he had no idea about this news and shyly stated that he will continue to work hard.

Aside from Juyeon, The Boyz is known to be full of visuals. Eric boasted about his jawline, and Ju Hakneon was picked as the member with the nicest lips. The members then participated in a competition to mimic funny expressions to pick the group’s new visual geniuses, which turned out to be Younghoon, Juyeon, Hakneon, and Jacob.

The Boyz also revealed stories from their dorm life. Eric was revealed to be in charge of cleaning, with the members commenting, “He organized his closet by color, and he arranges his underwear and socks to go in one direction.”

They then tried to find culprits behind unsolved mysteries at the dorm, which involved a shower head that none of the members confessed to breaking. When the MCs encouraged the culprits to come forward out of good conscience, they were revealed to be Juyeon and Sunwoo, shocking everyone.
