Watch: "Produce X 101" Trainees Face Conflict And Strive To Create Avengers Group In Latest Teaser

The trainees of “Produce X 101” are gearing up to showcase their powerful group performances!

In the latest teaser for episode three of “Produce X 101,” the trainees are getting ready to form teams to begin the group battles. Lee Dong Wook begins by asking, “What kind of team are you thinking of creating?”

Son Dong Pyo is shown smiling as he replies, “An Avengers team… To be honest… issue, visual!” Meanwhile, trainees in the background can be heard talking about how likely it will be for the Avengers team to debut unless something bad happens.

As the preparations for the battles begin, the trainees come face to face with multiple obstacles. Mentor Lee Seok Hoon says, “I can’t tell what song you’re singing.” Choreographer Bae Yoon Jung is shown disappointed in the trainees as she angrily coaches, “Straighten up the lines! Come out!”

The teaser also shows clips of trainees expressing their concerns as they face group conflict. One trainee says, “If Yoo Jin doesn’t change, the whole team will…,” another asks, “Does being a leader mean all we have to do is follow your words?” and another comments, “Until when do I have to ask nicely?” The turmoil escalates as they show a blurred out scene with the voiceover, “Three hyenas came at me…”

Despite the conflict, the trainees seem to deliver an amazing performance as they say, “Isn’t this the best of the best?” However, Mnet keeps the tension alive at the end with a clip of Bae Yoon Jung asking, “In what way is this the Avengers? Who said you guys were Avengers?”
