Watch: NCT 127's Haechan Meets Haechan, The Adorable Pudu Fawn Named After Him

NCT 127’s Haechan recently met the pudu fawn that was named after him!

On May 15, NCT 127 visited the LA Zoo and had the chance to see the pudu fawn named Haechan, who was born on December 19, 2018.

The pudu fawn was named after the NCT member in January of this year when the LA Zoo opened up a fundraiser campaign, saying that they would name the fawn after Haechan if NCTzens [official fan club name] donated $2,000 in five days. As the pudu happens to be one of Haechan’s nicknames, fans donated over $2,500 in approximately three hours.

When asked how he felt when he heard the news of the fawn, Haechan replied, “To be honest, I first heard about the pudu through our fans. It’s a good opportunity, and for a lot of fans to donate to a zoo and for a pudu to have my name, it’s such an honor.”
